Dear Rasikas,
We are happy to introduce a new raga this week. The raga has been imbibed in to carnatic system from the North where it is known as Jaijaivanthi. Dwijavanthi is synonymous with Dikshitar's 'Akhilandeswari Rakshamaan' where the nuances of the raga has been captured in all its beauty and grandeur.
