Raga Surabhi website just got a little better last week -- it's the same content, but with a new look.
We successfully concluded the testing of our beta site http://new.ragasurabhi.com/ last week after incorporating some of the suggestions that you gave. Raga Surabhi was hosted till now on Weebly (A free website builder platform), which served us well for the past two years. The new site is hosted on a commercial hosting provider. We hope to continue making improvements to the website on a regular basis. We are looking to hear from you on what features you would like us to work on. So, send us your feedback.
And now for this week's update. This week, we have a well known Thyagaraja composition in the raga Suddha Dhanyasi, 'Entha Nerchina' where the composer laments that no matter how much ever learned a person may be, finally, he falls prey to worldly desires.
