We bring to you this week a special kriti, one of the majestic and famous compositions of Dikshitar. Dikshitar has composed nine kritis on Goddess Kamalamba, enshrined in Thiruvarur. They are more popularly referred to as the 'Kamalamba Navavarana kritis' and each one of these compositions showcase his musical, lingual and philosophical scholarliness.
We hope you will find time to listen to 'Kamalamba Samrakshatumam' in Ananda Bhairavi, the first Avarna kriti, set to Mishrachapu tala.
