We are happy and delighted to launch our new segment, 'Swarotsavam' this week!
The feel or mood created by a raga is due to the swaras present in it. Isn't it amazing that just by changing one note, a happy Mohanam can be changed to a sombre Sivaranjani or Vasanthi? Swarotsavam is an effort to capture the beauty of swaras through various short compositions.
Enjoy listening to the first one in the series - 'Pratiksha-Waiting for Beloved'. Please allow yourselves, just this time, to enjoy just the feel and the mood created by the swaras, without getting in to the raga zone :) Awaiting your feedback as always and eager to know your thoughts!
