This week we are happy to take up a new raga. The 27th Melakarta Sarasangi, is a very beautiful raga having close resemblance to its neighbour Charukesi. Jaya Jaya Padmanabha is the most popular composition in this raga that we occasionally hear in concerts. Please do listen to its Arohanam Avarohanam and Signature to understand the raga and its prayogas.
