The special song this week is our humble attempt to showcase India's diversity, rich culture and heritage in a very small way. This song is a compilation of patriotic lines of famous poets, taken from 10 different Indian languages and has been sung by four different artistes. The highlight of the song is Vijay Kannan's wonderful arrangement that has made the blend of diverse melodies, rhythms and lyrics, so natural, seamless and refreshing. Just as India's diversity, the song features 10 languages in 10 different ragas or scales and 5 different nadais or rhythmic patterns have been employed.
The video contents of the song have been contributed by many friends and rasikas of Raga Surabhi and we are greatly thankful to them for all their interest, time and effort. And to all the kids featured in the video......you guys just rocked it.....thank you and love you all so much :)
