- Full Song: Murugan Vazthu by Arunagirinathar
The full song for this week is a Murugan Vazthu padal (a song praising Lord Murugan) by Arunagirinathar. Arunagirinathar has composed several poems and songs, popular ones being Thiruppugazh and Kandar Anuboothi. His songs are known for their excellent tamil and sanskrit lyrics and they have complex rhythmic structures. We are happy to present to you an excerpt of his composition in two ragas - Vasantha and Hindolam.
